ORANGE PROJECT

ABOUT THE PROJECT

"Gallery Orange" in Bacolod City was founded when visual artist Charlie Co and artist-entrepreneur Victor Benjamin "Bong" Lopue III met by chance at a gas station. Co, already known nationally and globally, partnered with Lopue to create the gallery. In 2018, the gallery was rebranded as "Orange Project", becoming a platform to showcase works of emerging artists in Negros and beyond. The gallery has also become a cultural hub for creative events and activities in Bacolod City.

The Orange Project in Bacolod City has been breaking boundaries in Philippine regional art, expanding the conversation and possibilities of contemporary art. Despite being located in the middle of a local shopping and business complex, the art space has become a driving force in promoting the arts for the past 18 years.
